Is DXC Technology (DXC) Undervalued After Opening Its New Bengaluru AI Center?

Is DXC Technology (DXC) Undervalued After Opening Its New Bengaluru AI Center?

DXC Technology has opened a new 200,000 square foot Customer Experience Center in Bengaluru, India, giving investors a fresh look at the company's push into artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. The facility is meant to showcase DXC's capabilities to clients and partners, and the company has also launched a product called Private Cloud+ as part of its broader technology refresh.

But the market has not been impressed. Despite the new center and the AI-focused messaging, DXC's stock has taken a beating. Over the past 90 days, the share price has dropped 24.1%. Looking at the longer picture, the one-year total shareholder return has fallen 34.8%. That kind of decline raises a natural question: is the stock now undervalued, or is the market seeing something the company's new center cannot fix?

The Bengaluru facility is a big investment in physical space and talent, but DXC faces headwinds that go beyond any single office opening. The company has been working through a turnaround plan, cutting costs and trying to refocus its services. Revenue has been under pressure as clients tighten their IT spending. The new AI center might help win new business, but it has not yet changed the narrative on Wall Street.

For investors, the gap between the company's technology push and its stock performance is wide. Whether that gap represents a buying opportunity or a warning sign depends on whether DXC can turn its new capabilities into actual revenue growth. So far, the market is waiting for proof.
