The Cecil County School of Technology marked a major milestone Friday as its latest class of graduates took the stage at the Bob Carpenter Center. The ceremony, held in front of a packed crowd of family, friends, and faculty, honored students who completed rigorous career and technical education programs alongside their standard academic requirements.
Graduates from fields ranging from automotive technology and health sciences to cybersecurity and culinary arts walked across the stage to receive their diplomas. Many students in the class earned industry certifications and college credits through the school's partnerships with local businesses and institutions. School officials highlighted the hands-on training that sets these graduates apart, noting that several have already secured jobs or apprenticeship positions in their chosen trades.
The keynote speaker encouraged the new alumni to carry forward the problem-solving skills and work ethic they developed during their time at the school. As the last cap was tossed into the air, the atmosphere was one of pride and anticipation for the next steps these skilled graduates will take into the workforce or further education.
