DXC Technology has announced a significant leadership overhaul, naming Paul Taylor as its new president while Dan Gray takes over as president of Global Infrastructure Services. The moves are part of a wider restructuring effort aimed at sharpening the company's focus on artificial intelligence, streamlining decision-making, and speeding up execution across its business units.
Taylor, who previously served in senior roles within the company, will now oversee day-to-day operations and work closely with the CEO to align DXC's service delivery with its AI-centric growth strategy. Gray, meanwhile, steps into a role that places him directly in charge of the infrastructure arm, a critical piece of the company's portfolio as clients increasingly demand cloud modernization and AI-ready environments.
The leadership changes come at a time when DXC has been working to reposition itself as a more agile technology partner, moving away from traditional IT services toward higher-value digital transformation offerings. The company has been investing heavily in AI tools, automation, and data-driven consulting, and the new structure is designed to put more accountability at the top.
Executives say the reshuffle is not just about titles but about creating a flatter, more responsive organization. By giving Taylor and Gray clearer mandates, DXC hopes to shorten the distance between strategy and delivery, particularly for large enterprise clients that are racing to adopt generative AI and hybrid cloud solutions.
The appointments are effective immediately, and the company says no other major changes to its executive team are planned at this time. DXC's stock saw modest movement following the announcement, with analysts viewing the move as a positive signal that management is serious about executing its transformation playbook.
